Reflection on essay

Looking back on my diagnostic essay from last semester, and looking for the argument that was supposed to be present, I realized that I had no real argument. I had no real evidence in my essay. Everything was completely based on my opinion and were all pretty much just assumptions I had come to. I think that I had a definite thesis statement but not much more then that was in my essay. It was not a good argumentitive paper at all, it lacked the much needed evidence that would have made it an argument.
