"Back to Basics: Test Scores Don't Lie"

This piece was written 20 years ago, it is pretty much not relevent anymore. All of her research was up to date around the time it was written but today it is very out dated and almost useless. Her thesis was focused on 2 things: the United States performance in education on a global stage, and the difference of education and learning on a gender bias. She didn't have a counter argument present, in fact her argument was incomplete because of the lack of evidence that was present. She had ideas of how to change a few tests, such as the SAT and replacing it with test in specific studies that the student has been in.
